Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash-Morgan, actor and a member of the SSC's board of directors since 2011, is the Co-Artistic Director Founding of the recently formed theater company Speech of Fire. She has been the artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until 2019. In addition to serving as the SSC's Artistic Directors, Lauren Ash-Morgan was also in the roles of costume/set designer, producer, composer/music directors as well as text coaches. While she was usually the leader of the ensemble of actors during her last year, she was able to make her debut as director (and lighting designer) in the SSC's King Lear. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. Apart from acting, she's also worked on a number of game-based programs. In her early years her family lived at Walnut Creek with her siblings and the poem Marylee Post. She was a student at Las Lomas High School where she played cheerleading. She went to Pomona College for a short time and then graduated from Lewis & Clark College, both located in Oregon. Post had previously been married Stephen Knox. In 1982, she was married to actor cum writer Michael A. Ross with who her two kids. Post, a wonderful actress, as well as a wonderful wife and mother, is an example to many Hollywood actors.
